Because your love making isn't intense enough

I don't think it's a secret to anyone that men and women are wired differently. Men are usually in one box and focused on one thing at a time. If you're watching football, you're in the football box, cutting the grass, the yard work box, doing something for your job, the work box. For women everything is intertwined. Work, kids, finances, household chores, emotional attachments, it all overlaps in their brains all the time, which leads to a lot of their nervous energy. They're usually thinking about several things at once. It's why they will bounce around from one topic to another during a conversation that are seemingly unrelated to us.

My wife is like this as well. She is the least lazy person I’ve ever known in my life. She’s also horribly disorganized.
This is my 86 year old mother and she is the most inefficient person I’ve ever met. I have come to the conclusion she is unable to think ahead.
At different points in cooking for instance she will make 3 trips to the drawer with measuring spoons and 3 trips to the drawer with the utensils as she progresses through a recipe.

Seabass, how did you finally get to diagnosis with your wife. My wife would bite me if I suggested counseling even though I go myself to deal with some grief issues.
Orderliness, perfectionism, control and ego-syntonic behaviors which she views as suitable and correct. OCPD is bad when untreated.

You know how they relax? Talking about what is annoying/stressing them
I never thought about it this way, but it's spot on.
Complaining is how they relax and relieve stress.

Most of them are more upset when YOU are sitting still/relaxing.
“Can you go do _____?”
“I’m happy to show you how to do it if you’d like?”
“*utter rage* followed by icy silence”

I’m the one who can’t sit still in my marriage.

Life makes a lot more sense when you realize this.

I also don’t get that.
I don’t see what’s difficult to just chill

Mine does nothing at home and when elsewhere she can’t sit still.
When we take a flight she’s so bad we book aisle seats and split the isle. I pity the poor bastard that has to sit beside her. She can’t sit still for five minutes.
It’s getting much worse as we get older.

Fuuuck. This is my wife and I guess will be her when she’s 86.
I actually do 95% of the cooking and meal prep at our house because we never eat anywhere near on time when my wife cooks.
