“Hollywood, they create these impossible body images. Blah-blah-blah.” You know, that whole thing. The plus-size actress. Right? The fatties. You know? That’s like a big thing. They’re sick of being treated like fat people. I don’t know what it is. They’re going on the cover of magazines now, just showing how fat they are, wearing a little amount of clothes, and everybody’s, like, hyping ’em up. Like, “Oh, my God. That’s so brave! That’s so courageous!” I’m not saying it doesn’t take balls, but that’s a bit of an overreach with the word “brave,” right? Like, what am I supposed to do if I ever see a fireman running out of a building carrying a baby and an old lady? Am I gonna sit there like, “Oh, my God! You’re like a fat actress that takes her shirt off to do a magazine shoot to promote the movie she’s in”? Now, look, I know you’re not supposed to make fun of fat people. I understand, all right? I don’t know why, though. Why? They’re not a race, they’re not a religion. It’s totally curable. Eat an apple and go for a walk, you know? Why are you yelling at everybody else? What the frick are you giving me shite for? All right? You put the cookies in there! I didn’t! How is this my problem? Jesus Christ! You ate your way in, you can walk your way out. All right? And just slowly start shedding the pounds. Shove some fricking lettuce in there instead of a bunch of Ho Hos and it’s gonna come down, and then you’re on my side of the fence, right?-Bill Burr

Why?

Too much fast food
Too much eating out in general
Too much eating, period
Too much soft drinks (sodas, coke, pop, etc)
Too much beer
Poor eating choices in general; too many carbs, fats, fried stuff
Delicious but deadly Louisiana/Southern foods and lifestyle
No self control
Not enough activity or exercise

Healthy food tastes bad? Porterhouse steak, grilled zuchinni, grilled onions & mushrooms, avocado, cucumber and spinach salad with sunflower seeds, olive oil and feta. Sounds pretty tasty to me

It is mostly because of preservatives and gut health... If you eat processed food with preservatives it will kill the 'good' bacteria in your gut that helps with digestion and causes your body not to properly digest food and leads to weight gain. Not eating food filled with preservatives helps. It is an epidemic because large food companies want to use the preservatives so they have more time to get their food to the consumer and that is why the chemicals are not banned in the US... big corporations are too powerful and too much money at stake for the law makers to ban them. Eat whole foods and you will be healthier...

The normal now is fat. I'm a thinner guy and it's amazing how many fat and obese people try to tell me every day that "need to eat something" "put some meat on my bones" and other stupid shite.

They are used to looking around and seeing everyone look like them so it's normal in their eyes.

Have fun with diabetes

America is sugar addicted. PERIOD. Our breads, our pastries, our sauces, our gravies, our chocolates, our everything is uber sweet, much more so than you will find elsewhere in the world.

And, we want copious amounts of everything or we don’t think we got a good deal. It matters less how amazing it was as it does how much we got of it for the money we paid for it. Our plates are too big.

American Food companies love to put sugar in literally EVERYTHING. The amounts of sugar we intake daily is insane.

Self control. People can’t stop shoveling shite in their mouths and get too lazy to work it off when they do. It also seems like every restaurant has giant portions these days too.

I know people who judge restaurants on how much food you get rather that the quality of the food. It’s becoming an epidemic.

Because skinny, fit people drop dead of heart attacks and brain aneurysms all the time. Eat up. Drink up. Get ready for your dirt nap. The strands of fate have already been cut for you.
