I will consider getting the vaccine once I'm convinced that 100% of the vulnerable population has received the vaccination and that includes all the minority population so at risk, as well as *ahem* "recent arrivals". Until then, I'm checking my privilege and deferring any advantage my whiteness offers and decline to get the vaccination in solidarity with those underserved and historically repressed communities.

I don’t get the flu vaccine either. I have zero trust in our government and will never listen to any recommendation they make. Maybe if they weren’t so ignorant and corrupt i might take their advice more seriously, but i doubt that ever changes. Would you take financial advice from a crackhead? It’s basically the same thing.
