I couldn't imagine trying to live without sex. It seems to be a very basic human element. Why would the Catholic church put their leaders in a position like this especially when we know that apostles married?

Cause their wives wouldn't let them sleep with little boys.

And you think getting married solves that.

Well, the priests do choose the life of celebacy. No one forces them.

It's a polarizing topic for sure. Props to them for being able to deal with it.

I have relations almost every day with my wife. At some point, I realized that if I wanted it, I just had to be aggressive and take it.

For all the idiots downvoting me, Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and preached the Baptist faith

Catholic Church requires them to take a vow of celibacy. Same rule for nuns I believe.

Because Catholic priests prefer little boys.

Probably a tradition taken from Paul who never married. It is not a Biblical dictation but a human crafted tradition...much like everything in the Catholic Church.

Because the age of consent in most places is over 13.

It's not rape, just confidence and aggression. She loves it and I get what I want.

I have no idea if this is true. However, I read one time that one of the reasons was because the church thought many priests were leaving church property to their families sometime around the third or fourth century.
