It’s been proven that 70%+ of behavior is genetic, and some studies indicate it’s in the 90s.
To ignore genetic differences between racial groups is suicide.

Interracial couples have gained widespread acceptance to the point they're not going to throw you off in an ad, so a black dad, a white mom, and some kids with a skin tone that could lead you to believe they're Hispanic checks alot of boxes.

But breeding within your own “tribe” is normal, natural behavior, enforced by millennia and nature.
You have mixing in certain situations (usually involving armies and rape) but by far the norm is breeding with others like you.
That’s how we have diversity. It isn’t a bad thing.
I think the thing people have a problem with is the overrepresentation of the phenomena.
So let’s get give it a bump. Let’s be generous and say 20% now are interracial.
Blacks make up 13% of the population.
So maybe 5% of all relationships in the us are black/white interracial.
Yet I seems like 50% of the couples on TV commercials are.
Personally, I think people should be free to love who they love (although the intelligence of some of these couplings is evident in the fallout, but that’s another story altogether.)
But let’s not pretend that those who control media are over representing a minority of relationships.

I think it's a bit ridiculous to say that someone bought a product because the commercial had an interracial couple in it. I don't care that these ad companies do it, but it does seem to be pushed a lot.

Mostly a myth. The amount of children born to single mothers hasn't increased a ton over the past 30-40 years. The "problem" is that married couples are having fewer children, so the ratios are all jacked up.
