No one is saying the spike might be due to the more logical reason, thousands of people marching with in inches of each other for days.

Because it’s such a cis gender white male thing of you to assume that the Corona virus spiking is because of protestors. I believe in the science and the science is saying these Republican areas opened up too soon.

Because the media are made up of dishonest partisan hacks.

They’re really nothing more than propaganda outlets.

While I don't doubt the protests have helped spread the virus, you tell me which one of the below have spread the virus more: Kid Rock's honky Tonk or BLM protest?

Because memorial day is just a good date to reference?

Without knowing the full context of what you are referencing, it sounds like you are wanting to blame the spike on a specific event, while the news reports arent blaming it on anything?

The protesters are more likely to have underlying medical issues and more likely to fit the demographics of the people getting sick and dying.

Because the riots are over. The media is back with it's old BFF.

I can only speak for my state, but the spike here started before the protests.

Bring on the murder hornets. They are known to congregate around mostly red state polling stations I’ve been told.

Except they are blaming the red states for opening up too soon.

Will literally have coverage of thousands at a protest, then next story is about how they thinks it’s dangerous for trump to hold rallies.

The media sucks

Spike in the rona is actually a good thing. Spike in hospitalizations or deaths is the bad thing. Healthy people getting it now will help slow the spread in future years.

In other words, it is a narrative. Turn the channel.
