what defines "neighbor" in this thread?

I was wondering this as well. I think if you don't share a property line, it shouldn't count. I could name all sorts of other people that live in my neighborhood or the next one over.

I think it should at least mean in your own neighborhood. I mean it has the word "neighbor" in it.

I am told famous people live near me. Never seen them.

However, I know what very few famous people look like in everyday life.

I know this isn't a serious thread, but that makes no sense. The definition of neighbor specifies being "near" the person being referenced. That's completely open to interpretation. I guess that's why the word "neighborhood" exists.
