I have two 7-11s near me. One a block to the west and one a block to the north.

The one to the west is your typical 7-11. Employees usually looked bored. Cashier always surfing on their phone.

The one to the north has employees that make chiknfila feel ashamed. All the workers are middle aged or older men. They all look pretty rough around the edges. But you can tell they give a shite.

The first time I walked through the doors, the manager said “hi, let me know if there’s anything you need and we will get it in stock.”

Last night, this older cashier was just like “how’s your day been.”

They know most people who go in there. Always chatting with people. Everyone’s always up beat. I’m pretty impressed. I wish more people took that mindset.

Friend,

What a wonderful story about the convenience stores near your home. I am glad some of the employees seem to take joy in their job. May we all be kind to them and show our appreciation that they are working. Let us all continue our efforts to rid convenience stores of selling tobacco and alcohol.

Friend,

That would be very inconvenient. Also, without these two lines, they would have to shut down. This would cost beaucoup jobs. Many Americans would be harmed.

Where would tens of thousands of little New Orleanian children steal their candy and school supplies from? I beseech you to re-think your position, and possible campaign.

Yours,
Hangit

I’m sorry to see that you condone the sale of lottery tickets at these convenience stores. I expected better.

Please revise to rank eight additional stores. Also, post needs photos and bigger words.

Also, please include the thoughts of mother and uncle on the matter.

Try this experiment at your local drive thru. Overpay them. If they say "you gave me too much", tell them "keep it, thanks for being open".

If they don't say anything, that's ok too.

Side note: Chic-Fil-A employees will insist that you take your money back. They won't take tips.

The girl at Captain D's never says word, but gives me extra tarter sauce.
