I’ve learned to stay away from Cessna’s at the very least when it comes to small aircraft.many folks have said it’s the flip of a coin with a bunch of those planes.
That’s like saying I avoid Toyota Tacomas because they are so unreliable and impractical.

You guys are still being swayed by fake accounts, bad actors, and foreign governments into hating your fellow countryman.
No, but Liberals are. Every one in my friend group and their families that are liberal are whacked out of their minds.

Oh hell yes. Where I’m from, most of us made our first attempt at smoking cessation between 4th and 5th grade.
Carried a can of Hawken in my back pocket at 9-years-old, that’s north Louisiana for ya.
Stores in Crowville sold me snuff and cigs when I was 11 because they knew my older BIL didn’t have time to get down from the cotton picker during early fall haha. Different times (early 90s).
Back on topic, I love hearing old crusty Nam pilot stories. Dudes were modern day SAVAGES.

Why do you guys get off on this negative stuff? Stop posting this crap. No one wants to read it

Why do you click on a clearly titled thread just to bitch about the content?

Was in the area during the same time period(late 80s-early 90s) and had similar experience. Not sure if Hawken but it was dip. Honestly can't even remember the guys name i carried it for. Poland was his last name iirc.

Liberalism truly is a mental disorder. They’ve allowed politics to enter every facet of their life and it’s what they see second, after color. They have rewired their brains so they let every decision be dictated by politics and it’s so frustrating.
Lol. This describes every retard who digs in and thinks either of these political parties offer them refuge. Nope, it’s just the mentally ill liberals.

The ones celebrating the death of this family are the same ones who think having a pretty white girl in a blue jeans commercial is literally Hitler.

We’ll never know if he went through his checklist before taking off, did he check the fuel, did he do a run up, etc?
Good questions.
I wouldn’t think tank condensation would be a huge issue in Idaho.
A run up would show you a bad mag. But how often does that fail?
I guess he or someone could have accidentally topped him off with JP4, but would the nozzle even fit?
Does anyone know where the fuel selector is on the Mooney? First thing you check on loss of power.
Bad fuel pump? I guess that would starve an engine at full power.
Who the hell knows.

I know plenty of Polands. Ironically, one of them pulled my old man out of a plane crash one time haha. Luckily, he lived. Plane crashed out around Chicago Mills.

Straight out of my behind but,
Doesn’t the Mooney have a fuel dump?
Could you accidentally actuate?

Anybody flies with or in a single engine aircraft is tempting fate every single time they get in it.

Same could be said for pretty much any mode of transportation.

I know it's not much consolation to that family, but Mooneys are famously strong aircraft. They have a steel tube cage around the cabin underneath the aluminum skin and single piece wing spars that go from wingtip to wingtip.

Could be Russian / Chinese bots or farms sewing discord in our country.
This is the correct answer. Tik Tok and Twitter are 80% bots and their goal is to see discord. Actual idiot users end up arguing with computer software.
These bot farms are what stirred up the COVID and the George Floyd crap.
