Bought a 2018 ZL1 two weeks ago...yes I’m trashy, but it’s one fun car to drive.

My guess is you will not have to worry about that choice.

Some of y’all need to Google “2017 ZL1 Camaro Meet the Supercar destroying Camaro” and watch the video. Not only does it hang with a Vette, it beats it...and about everything else on the track.

Stepdad just got a Camaro. Those things are bad to the bone...

ZL1 1LE is fricking insane esp for its size.

BUT, no. It does NOT beat the Z06. Is it close? yep, but it doesn't beat it.

The newest Z06 corrected the heating issues and is damn near perfect on the track.

That said, I am a HUGE fan of the ZL1......damn all the bullshite smack talk people here say. sweet arse car

I dont see how anyone would pick a Corvette or any american made car over a mercedes benz or BMW. I usually see people with new money buying them.

You and others are trying to compare Corvettes to other vehicles in terms of it being a means of transportation, not as the toy of a car enthusiast, it is like saying people should not listen to jazz because Reggie is available and its better.

I like them esp with natural induction....but, the ringer is the GT350R which runs north of 100K now used. And, its not the friendliest of daily drivers.

And the ZL1 beats it for $65,000 new. But you won’t get Hammertime’s approval.

I’ve been wanting a ‘19 Vette. Decided to get it at Kerbeck in Atlantic City. Stopped into my local Chevy dealer and drove a Vette. Loved it! Problem is there’s no back seat (still have 1 kid at home) and no trunk space for the Mrs’s paraphernalia.

So there sat this ZL1 Camaro. Trunk, back seat (well technically) and was a few bucks cheaper than a Vette.

I drove the Hellcat (holy shite it was fast but very cheaply made). I drove the Mustang GT (total chick car). Went back and got the ZL1.

Love the C6 Camaro and C7 Vettes!

Congrats man!!! I’m an old frick that had a 69 Camaro back in the day. The ZL1 is an amazing car for the price!

Drove next to ZL1 tonight, is the visibility shite out of that thing? Why is the hip of that car so high and windows so short?

However much that costs, I'd just buy whatever that gets me from a German auto maker. I don't care what the performance numbers are, if you can't go fast with 400 hp, 700 isn't going to help.

The rear window visibility is bad! I’m an obsessive mirror checker so it’s not as alarming for me. There’s “in lane obstacle” standard for changing lanes. But yes you have to be careful.

Sorry forgot to comment on this...the hip is high because of the huge rear tires on the car, 12 inches wide. It creates a large blind spot.

Guy had some slick LED side markers, yellow/orange up front and red in the back. That's not stock, huh? The back one on my side was a little glitchy. The orange was super cool though.

I took off at the first light (double turn lane and I was on the inside) and when I looked up to see where he was he passed me at full song. I didn't pull up next to him at the next one because a cop was behind us and I didn't know if he'd seen him.

I don’t think that’s stock...maybe an option? I went no frills except for the performance data recorder.

Lol...the dude probably got a ticket next block down. I’m in a little podunk town and have to be very careful...tickets are huge revenue.
