Father Nalty from St. Stephen in Nola is great. You can actually listen to some of his homilies online: LINK

Great man. Remember when they came in to announce at mass he had unexpectedly passed. Sad day.

Dude, that's so funny. OMG, you're hilarious.
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that's what y'all call your dads in Bama. My bad.

Father Bob. Performed out wedding ceremony and then came to the reception for a few drinks. Also returned the money we gave him for the ceremony as a wedding present.

Dr. Adrian Rogers at Bellevue Baptist. None better. Except for Billy Graham, who was on a whole different level.

Im with you about Bro Bob. He baptized me. Dude liked to rock during a sermon. I mean physically rock back and forth. Mustve worked a hole in his shoes.

Fr. Jerry when I was growing up.
He would limit the sermon on Saints Sundays and 11:00 mass would be over at 11:30 so he could catch the noon kickoff.

All great. As are Derek Thomas, Sinclair Ferguson, and David Strain (1st Presbyterian Jackson). Strain is the best pulpit preacher I have ever heard in person, and I have seen Keller.

My favorite priest from when I lived in Louisiana was Thanh Vu at St. Aloysius. I was so sad when I heard he had passed. Such a kind man, with good homilies. Plus, his stories and jokes were absolutely hilarious. I'll never forget his story about how he was at the Vatican during seminary and put the Cardinal's hat in backwards during mass, then messed up his combover when trying to fix it. I was dying during that story.
