The elder has grown on me over the last few years along with Unmasked. Unmasked has a lot of pop songs not really hard rock. Creatures of the Night is a fantastic album but failed to make any profit and the tour had abysmal attendance and is essentially what led to their taking the makeup off oh and Vinnie Vincent being a great songwriter and guitarist but just a shite human being and band mate.

Gene Simmons stayed at a resort I worked at in Scottsdale in the 90's. I dealt with many celebrities but he was right up there in the world of Prickdom.

Nobody ever told KISS what to do.
Gene and Paul made all the decisions and were brilliant in the final product they we were selling.
Truth be told, IMO, Ace and Peter were the only very talented musicians that really gave them success musically.
Ace and Peter finally said frick it leading to the demise of one of the most entertaining bands in the world.
