"If you are thinking about buying new property, head south for low prices. Prospective buyers can get almost an entire city in the state of Georgia for about the same price of a typical home in San Francisco, according to an advertisement that appeared on Craigslist this week. Some 37 parcels of property and 40 acres of land are for sale in Toomsboro, Georgia for $1.7 million. Property for sale in the town of 700 people includes an abandoned restaurant, a syrup mill, an opera house, an old bank, and a railroad depot. Calls to the number listed on the sales website went unanswered, but it appears the town has been on the market since 2012, when it was first listed at $2.5 million."

I’m gonna buy it and show nothing but the George Floyd porno and snuff film alternating non-stop. Admission: $2

Kim Basinger tried this back in the late 80s. Didn't end well.

That guy in Big Fish bought a whole town. Or at least I think he did. That movie is hard to know what’s really happening.

Both my mom's parents were from montana... they spoke worse about the winters than growing up during the depression.

You certainly could. I’m thinking more along the lines of a 40 acre mountain ranch type parcel
