Over 650 locations so I would venture a guess that a few people eat there

These woke universities are teaching this garbage to students. This is an example of a very capable woman who climbed the corporate ladder only to fall flat on her face bc of her woke mentality that was the result of her liberal ideology learned at her liberal college. How many more woke idiots will tank companies value amd image before they connect the dots. Woke=BROKE. Traditional American values are back and it doesn’t matter how many protesters waste their time.

They certainly do not do the business they once did, even before this latest thing. Used to be a line for breakfast every day of the week.

I never cared for it. Too bland. I don't eat pancakes, which are supposed to be good at CB, but I do eat bacon and eggs and they never knew how to prepare either one...worse than the bacon and eggs one will get at the DFACS on an army base or the Galley on a navy base...

Galley on a navy base...

You must have eaten at the wrong galleys. Sunday breakfast was always in the enlisted galley while overseas, and my pre-teen palate thought it was great

I think the biscuits suck.

They do if one is fortunate enough to have had a good Christian woman in their life at some point who knew the black magic art of making a good biscuit....fortunately for me my granny and mama could both do it and my wife learned the mystical ways of doing it from both of them....unfortunately they have not been friendly to my waistline over 60 years....but they are good for the soul....

It usually makes for a better place to take a road-trip dump than a gas station. Then I can buy an old Merle Haggard album.

It was the source of a fairly dependable if lackluster meal and reasonable restroom along interstates when driving long distances. Not ever great, but usually acceptable.

Road trips with the grandkids. Husband does not want to go into towns or cities to eat so proximity at the exit is nice. Kids get grilled chicken and veggies instead of fast food. Then a road toy/new outfit/stuffed animal from the store and everyone is happy.

^this. Families are who go to Cracker Barrel, especially families on road trips. Grandparents with their grandkids, parents with their kids. Yes, it’s not the local place they go to weekly in their hometown. But it’s a close facsimile on the road. It’s not by accident they’re always located right off interstate exits.

I admit I have stopped there for breakfast a few times and there was nothing to complain about. Can't comment on the lunch or dinner menu, but hope they get their shite together.

Tell me you’re a liberal or an ignorant child without telling me. You don’t have to be Country to eat at Cracker Barrel. Just hungry and traveling. It’s a family atmosphere and many people eat there with their families while traveling. Grow up.

Cracker Barrel was once a great option for road trips. You get to stop, relax, look at Americana, and eat some pretty good home cooking style food.

The food stopped being quality, it's that simple.

No, you sound like trash. Probably didn’t have a family or one that traveled so keep your ignorance to yourself.” Better to remain silent and let people wonder if you’re ignorant, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

Which makes it a great place to stop when travelling. You can get breakfast offerings any time of day, if memory serves.

It used to be great stop when traveling with little kids and you are tired of fast food. My kids are older now and will still eat it and not complain. The quality did go downhill though. The chicken and dumplings are still edible, but not as good as they were.
