I only wash my truck with Evian.

go to sink and fill up empty bottle, put cap on and put in fridge, an hour later no one, not even you can tell the difference in that one or the store bought water. (unless you have well water that is)

that said, yes a few of the water bottles you buy will taste funny or a little better then others. that is because you are tasting the plastic the cheap bottles are made of and not all of them clean the bottles well to wash off the plastic flavor

Ozarka gets my vote.

Some brands are certainly more bitter than others.

The best I've tasted are as follows:
Evian
Mountain Valley Spring
Walgreens "nice" Icelandic water
Nestle Purelife
Deer Park
FIJI

When water is ice cold, it all tastes about the same if it is at least filtered.

Dasani is the worst tasting bottled water out there. Ozarka and smart water are the best.

Penta water is the best.
