Hogan
Stone Cold
Rock
Cena

Undertaker would be the other one, but those 4 are your biggest wrestling icons outside of Vince. I don't count Vince considering he owns the company.

We agreed on 3 of the 4, and for what it's worth Cena was my first man left out.

Sure have been a lot of wrestling threads on the OT this week. Vince is doing something right.

Off topic but I just now discovered the Nakamura theme and it's stuck in my head.

Was it the Freebird rule that allowed any 2 guys from a stable to defend their tag team belts? Michael P.S. Hayes and Terry Bam Bam Gordy were great. Badstreet Atlanta GA.

You almost have to break this up by era
Hogan
Flair
Savage
Andre/Warrior

Rock
Cena
Stone Cold
Goldberg

For now, it has to be:

Hogan (hate him, but iconic)
Flair
Undertaker

Fourth spot: Take your pick from HHH, Cena, Rock, and Andre. Yes, there are a ton of people it is sensible to like better, but these are the guys that have done the most in and for the business.

All these posts, and only TWO mentions of Bruno Sammartino? The guy held the title for ELEVEN YEARS!

As a WWE historian, the correct answer is

Bruno Sammartino
Hulk Hogan
Steve Austin
The Rock

The next group would include John Cena, The Undertaker, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart.

Andre achieved much of his notoriety as a territorial traveler, never staying in one place for very long, up until he signed exclusively with WWE in the mid-80s, when he was well past his prime.

Flair achieved his fame in the NWA/WCW.
