I don’t understand the concept of stolen valor. It’s very odd to think people do this. Not to mention it’s a luxury that you don’t have to see what war really is and does. Dumb. Just lift weights and take steroids or something if you wanna be tough and macho.

I'm an aircraft maintainer and I worked with a guy that came back from Balad claiming to have killed a terrorist or maybe multiple while augmenting the security forces guys over there... We busted his arse and when he admitted to lying he said that he wanted his wife to think that he was a war hero. Some people just have a few screws loose.
