Old man at the craps table yesterday gets on my arse for throwing down a black chip for check at the same time the dice are being thrown. It hits the chip and comes up a hard 4. I said what the frick and he goes off on me for my incompetence. I've played craps a lot and didn't realize the die were being thrown, and I apologize. He said I'll give you ten dollars to leave the table, in which I said I'll give you ten dollars to stop breathing. The pit boss tells us to calm down and I point to the old man. Don 't know this old frick but I can imagine he is not the favorite pa pa in his family.

My ex gf's mom was an alcoholic and serial drunk driver. One night she ran her car into someone's house (the house was at the end of a T intersection in a neighborhood). In the ensuing days, she proceeded to fight with the family over facebook (she was mad that they were rightfully telling everyone how much of a tPOS she was). Then she got a tattoo of the totaled car on her calf with "RIP Herbie" or whatever the nickname she had for it, and proudly told everyone the story like it was some real knee-slapper

A former client of ours. Had all the advantages in the world until he got into meth. Has two children he has never supported. Currently in jail for beating up his mother, jumping bail and parole violation. His family members put up the bail he skipped, so they are out about 50k.

My Uncle.
Did the perp walk on three tv stations as he was a public official when arrested with a half kilo and pics of him snorting with a 17 year old. He comvinced my elderly grandmother he was setup which caused more problems.
Later on, even though he was my elderly grandmother's only living child at that point and she had visited him in prison for 7 years he shirked his duty to help in any way to care for her.
He was bad enough that my father, who never hated anybody, had some friends explain that he was never to enter the State of Louisiana again or they would figure out how he violated his parole and he would serve his suspended life sentence at Angola this time instead of Hunt, where he did his 7.

I can probably think of a few, but off the top of my head it is this woman who was my manager for about 9 months. Long story short, I was in between projects and it was going to be awhile before the next one I was going to be on so I was asked if I would help the new job recruiter who was moving to the BR office from Houston.
As a result the manager of recruiting demanded I be assigned to her department. The recruiting department lost a big contract and their other clients were slowing down so she convinced the regional president to sign off on the recruiting department doing the in house hiring (so the company was also paying them commission as well). She created a bunch of red tape and was just not a good person. She expected her employees to kiss her arse. Needless to say she didn't like me.
She wanted to make it look like her department was doing really well so she had the bright idea to hire 2 new recruiters (if she needed more recruiters she must have a lot of work right?). Well she convinced this lady she knew, who had been working for her company 20+ years to come work for her. She put together a package she couldn't turn down. About 3 weeks later when it became obvious what she was doing, she was told she had to cut back and lay a few people off. She decided to lay off the last two recruiters she hired. One being the lady who left her job of 20+ years that she had to convince to leave.
The recruiter in the BR office used to say "I saw your reply to Dorris. We don't talk to her that way". After about 5 months I went tell the manager who hired me that I couldn't deal with her anymore.. He told me "that's all you have to say. I got something you can work on for me, just make it through the week and Monday you will be back with us"..
The recruiter in BR would come tell me "Dorris isn't happy with you leaving".. I told her she can go tell Dorris to go frick herself".. She did. And my manager called me to his office laughing his arse off (because all the managers hated her). He said I don't know what you did, but Dorris recommended I get rid of you (that was just how she was). He said what did you do? I told him the girl in recruiting told me Dorris wasn't happen I left to come back to doing what I was hired to do and I told her to tell Doris to go frick herself, which she did.. He was like "you told her what everyone around here has been wanting to tell her and that she has it out for me, but don't worry because she doesn't know it yet, but the person who let her run the show was about to go to another company and she didn't know it yet.
About 2 weeks later it happened, a week after that she quit. That woman was one evil bitch.

Knew a cab driver named Russell who used to come into the bar I worked at. Seemed a little wierd, but usually had 2 or 3 beers, tipped well and went on his way. Find out a couple of years later he was the serial killer who was dumping bodies in the Ruddock area under I-55. Doing life at Angola.

Man I grew up around, was a 6'5" biker. He was a murderer which even his 19 year old wife fell victim to.
He's doing life now, and completely deserves it. Was a very violent person.

A cousin who is the third child born later in his parent's lives. He had very little discipline growing up. Became an alcoholic and a meth addict. He married an alcoholic and a meth addict. They had a kid and after that he got worse. First arrest was for pimping his wife out for drug money (she was willing). He did time for that. His wife had another kid that was not his.
They split and he moved back with his parents. He regularly got in fights with them and after his dad died, he beat his mother badly and threw her down some stairs. This went on for a few years and got worse. He stayed locked up off and on, but she always let him come back.
His son is a carbon copy of him in nearly every way and he was raised by my aunt.
A true piece of shite with not a single redeeming quality. He respects nothing and no one.

My aunt: My dad left her as executor of his estate; there towards the end, she was the only one he thought he could trust. He died in his sleep from an opiod overdose when I was 13 (this was back when they were handing out oxys like candy). That's the short version, use your imagination for the rest of it.
The long version: instead of doing the right thing, she kept the +750k in cash, more than that in insurance, his vehicles (an antique car & truck included), all of his high-value guns, and several hundred acres of mature sawtimber pine that my 2 sisters (age 5 and 20 at the time) and I would have inherited all of, along with things like 4 wheelers, odd-and-end belongings, etc.
(I managed to get a few of his beat up guns- the guns he used and that didn't look/were valuable; ones like his old tried-and-true swamp stick, aka his duck gun, which is a run-of-the-mill 12 guage browning bps with lots of character. It may have not had value to them or a gun value book, but I cherish that one- it is invaluable.)
They wound up clearcutting the land and keeping the profits, bought vehicles, including a new Ford Lightning for their son that he wrecked shortly after receiving it, (they're trashy, in case you couldn't tell), painted a turd via fixing up their house, and blew the money on shite and storage sheds to put the shite in, casinos, vacation, etc. Years later they so graciously decided to award my sisters and I with a $5,000 check. I suppose they did this to appease their conscience.
I hold no ill-will towards them and wish them the best (they'll need it), and honestly, I don't know if I'd have it any other way: It taught me far more about life, people & real family and friends than any inherited quantity of money & real estate ever could've. It taught me to hate the lust, desire & idolization of material things, and to admire my people, our relationships, integrity, reputation & the other intangibles in life. That doesn't mean I'm good at the latter, but I'm pretty damned good at the former.
It quite literally is the defining moment of what shaped "me" into "me," and how I live my life to this day.
But dammit boy...that inheritance, in-full, would've probably made the road towards the up-and-up a lot less winding, or maybe not, but this much is certain: It's what my father worked for, what he left for us, and what he wanted his legacy to be, and regarding that, putting myself in his shoes, if he could come back from the dead and see it all, he'd blame his sister for pissing on that legacy, on the sweat of his brow, and on his grave itself.
Even though I've forgiven for my own sake (and I'll never forget- that's foolish), they've sown (and continue to sow) sour seeds, and only God Himself and His mercy will save those kind of peoples' souls from the harvest they will reap.
And judging by the harvest they've already begun to realize is theirs, I'm afraid the Piper has come to be paid, and He ain't happy.

Fortunately, for all involved they are not part of the holiday festivities. They are more like "funeral kin".

Two come to mind
First was a guy that I used to work with that got messed up on meth and ended up killing a few people that he thought were stealing from him. I Never found out if those people were actually stealing his shite but he showed up at their house and started shooting.
Second was a high school teacher of mine that turned out to be a pedophile.
