This is not quite doomsday prepper time yet baw

Just get some TP, booze and a bag of chips and you’re good.

Do you even Breaux Mart Breaux?

I don't live in Nola but the few stores I've been in around here are picked clean of paper products and cleaning supplies.

Granted, I haven't visited a bunch of stores looking specifically for these items.

Fallguy, you could just drive down the road to New Orleans to get your tp.

Prepping doesn't have to be tinfoil hat or batshit crazy, but living in prime earthquake/tornado land I have prepared. I am not the one at the store panic buying. I helps I was about to go on a 6 month backpacking trip right before this so I have even more extra stocks.

Obviously different cities have different quirks as to what gets cleared out and whatnot at any given time but bleach was the one cleaning supply around here that never really got picked over for some reason.

Still no hand sanitizer that I know about but you can order that online pretty easy now (been getting flooded with e-mail alerts) from little boutique sellers that have retooled for it. It's 3-4 times more expensive than store bought but still pretty cheap, if you absolutely must have some.

I let other people do my prepping. If things get bad enough I'll just kill them and acquire the supplies I need.

yeah, good luck with that. They’ve prepared for you probably more so than any other.

Preppers are better off because you don’t know the future, and neither do they, but while they plan for the unforeseen, you assume it will always be there for you at your beck and call, and there simply are no guarantees in this life.

I grew up on and own a 120 acre farm. I live on a good fishing lake. My in-laws have around 20-30 beef cows. I have 80 acres of hunting land and keep a freezer of deer meat.

I'll be OK.

I'm definitely becoming a mild prepper after this.

Not because of the threat of apocalypse but because of the stupidity and hoarding of the masses at the behest of the government.

I never bought bleach before this so no idea what I’d use it for now. Everyone is making hand sanitizer now. I got a gallon from a brewery

It can purify water, not so much in this crisis, but yes it's mutipurpose.

When the grocery store shelves become empty, chaos will ensue.

Yep, right up until you and every other country boy can survive type wipes out your hunting land and the hunting lands surrounding it, and then the masses come and take your Cattle to feed their starving bellies. I’m not saying having cattle or chickens isn’t a smart move. It is, but it’s also a bulletin board advertisement for anyone in the general area where the new grocery store is located.

Did the preppers buy all the puzzles? They’re impossible to find now.

True, but not all have to sleep at the same time.
