I used to subscribe back in the 90s. They had a special for 12 issues for $14. Couldn't beat it (pardon the pun).

If this was 1988 I might have said yes.. But I was only 10.. I am just saying that if I was the age I am not in 1988 I might have subscribed.

It really is legitimately about the articles. I don't know who writes for the magazine now, but there have been some very reputable, big hitter writers who have had their articles published in the magazine. That and the top level celebs over the years that they have been able to convince to pose in it because playboy is seen as more respectable than other porn.
