I took it 20 years ago, and I was old then. Did no prep work, just registered and took it cold, made a 156. Never tried to get into a law school, decided it was not financially feasible at that stage of my life.

but I wrote them here in the correct order.
I only took an official one once because they used to take the average of your scores, not the highest.

This went about exactly how I’d expected it to go. Can’t take you frickers anywhere.
My statement was 100% accurate.
I scored a 46.
I am willing to bet when you take it you will score a significantly higher number.

My score was so low that southern wouldn’t even take me.

I did a Kaplan class, but my span from cold to highest practice to actual was pretty narrow, maybe 8 points. I had a good cold score but Kaplan improved on that 5 of so I think. My actual score was lower than my highest practice by 3-4 points.
My wife, however, had a pretty huge span (like 20 points from cold to actual). I think she did Princeton Review.

I took the LSAT, the GRE, the ATGSB (now called the GMAT) all about the same time - I must have done okay on all of them.

Funny you made this thread because just today I realized that I don’t remember what I made on the LSAT and at one point in time it was the most important academic thing in my life.
It certainly wasn’t a super high or super low score, but for the life of me I cannot remember

I was a lazy pos and never took full, timed tests; however, I was consistently in the high 160's and low 170's when I combined the individual timed sections. With that said, you absolutely want to practice practice practice in a timed environment. Not being a lazy arse will pay off.
That was a long arse time ago, so I don't remember specifics about my preparation, but I do know that my bubble filling game was weak af on my second try.
Get cold at setting up the game section. That is one section that practice will greatly increase your score. I think I used the logic games bible by powerscore and was generally close to perfect on those sections when I didn't go full retard with the bubbles.
If the test has changed a lot since the early 00's, don't waste time reading any of this bullshite.

I don’t remember my number score but I remember I was in the 96th percentile for the year I took it. I got inquiries from Harvard Law and other major schools. I sent them my LSU transcripts and universally got a “thanks but no thanks” from every school. Went to LSU. Finished first year and realized I didn’t want to be a lawyer, in school or in debt any longer. Left and didn’t look back.

How’d you score?
I don't remember, except that it was described as "very high."
I prepared by working crosswords and logic games.

I took it in 1972 and 1973.

It was a long time ago, but I think I bought her some roses and took her to a nice restaurant in Manhattan.

I took it so long ago (Fall 1985) that it was on a different scale, a 10-48 scale. Didn't study for it or prepare at all, and I got a 38, which at the time (along with my grades) was good enough to get me financial aid/scholarship offers from Tulane, Ole Miss and Loyola. Wound up going to Loyola and hated law school; left early in 2nd semester after receiving a full ride graduate assistant scholarship offer from Georgia Tech.
2 funny things I remember about the LSAT back then:
1. When I took the test (at a lecture hall room at LSU) they were real strict rules on moving around seats during breaks and such. You were supposed to stay in your same seat all day long. Well, during the first session I found I was sitting behind some geek who was passing gas CONSTANTLY, the most vile smell imaginable. I mean, this guy was letting loose some real SBDs (silent but deadly). At the 1st break I told the proctor the situation and that I HAD to move, rules or no; he let me move with no problem.
2. I remember getting my test scores on Halloween when I went home for a party or two. I looked them over and was pretty happy with my composite score of 37. When I looked closer at the individual section scores, though, I did the math and I found they somehow made a calculation error, and my composite score should have been a 38. I contacted them, they admitted the error and changed my score record to 38.

That’s what I did earlier today. Lsac offers a couple free lsats on their website. Took a 2 hour lunch and banged one out. No prep. No clue how it was set up. Each section had a running clock with no opportunity to pause or stop. Once you run out of time, you’re done. Got a 150. I thought it was pretty decent for no prep whatsoever

Exact same situation and score here (150).......shitty GPA, so I sat law school out.
Posted on 4/16/20 at 5:08 pm to TDcline
it was a very long time ago. Somewhere in the 160s.
Posted on 4/16/20 at 5:14 pm to TDcline
I took it with 1 hour of prep the night before. 165, iirc.
FYI, don't go to law school.

Beat me by a point. Old days when 800 was top score. LSU took total of gpa and lsat. I still nearly flunked out first year
