I quit with Chantex. No bad dreams. No thoughts of suicide. Just raging hard-ons every morning. Takes two weeks.

I tried everything, e cigs, patches, gum, chantix, nothing worked. Went out one night and left them at the bar on accident. First day was the hardest for me, just breaking the routine, but it got easier. Quit for about 6 months, and started again Main thing for me was I had to keep the right mentality that I am quitting/ stronger than the craving, etc. About to make another run at quitting. Would like to stick around to see my son grow up.

I quit 2 1/2 years ago. It wasn't as hard as i thought it would be. Every time i had a craving i would knock out 30 pushups or some sit-ups. Get some candy and sunflower seeds to help

After trying everything to quit over a span of three years, (smoked close to two packs a day for almost 17 years) I finally had enough of it. Quitting cold turkey is the only real way to quit. Make up your mind, and just quit. It's really that simple

i'm like most people i tried to quit several time with no success. I tried patches, gum, weening myself and everything else out at the time. In the end i just put them down and never pick one up again, that was the easiest way for me. The times when i wanted one most was when drinking (which had become a problem also)!!! So now i don't drink, 5 years with no cig and 3-1/2 with no beer.

I. Had a child and that was the end of it. I guess you find your motivation.

ps I remember my dad smoking when I was a little boy. My brothers and I would follow him outside and give him a hard time. I remember being very afraid that he was going to die. I didnt want my kid to feel that.

pss my dad quit not long after... never went back to it.

Vaporizer. Smoked for 13 years, got tired of spending so much cash and smelling like shite. Get a good vape that you can gradually dial down the nicotine dosage.

Met my wife who was much better looking than me. She hated cigs so I quit cold turkey. Had one relapse where one sneak led to a few months of sneaking them, but haven't had one in like 4 years.

In college I decided to quit when I got bronchitis. Trying to smoke cigs when having a chest cold sucks...

I took the cigs out of the pack and filled it with 10 hand rolled joints. Whenever I got a craving I burned one down. I havent smoked a cig since.

I really need to quit but I am not sure how to pull it off. shite is killing me and I'm ready for a lifestyle change. Can anyone help?

Decrease your dependence on nicotine by decreasing your levels of nicotine through vaping, and just stop buying cigarettes, but you have to make it up in your mind that that's enough.

1. Don't have your next cigarette.
2. Repeat.

Yes I quit about 8 years ago now. Cold turkey. It was only really hard for about a month.

Easy. You have to decide if you want live more than you want to die.
