That place is an absolute joke. All the members they have and they refuse to upgrade equipment and shite is always broken. I know, I know, it's Donaldsonville. If the owner posts here, get your shite together and start putting some money into the place.

Has anybody been at 4 AM?

I am always intrigued when I drive by a closed "Anytime" Fitness.

I've never gone that early. I'm at work still just ranting. My cousin was there at 3 AM not too long ago working out before work when 2 Canadians attempted to break in and yank the door open. He called the cops and they never made it in and ran off.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I had a membership for about 2 years there. I liked it just for the lack of ppl there. It was a way for me to kill time before trying to go over the bridge. As far as equipment, yeah it's old but nothing I couldn't deal with. There was a few juice heads in there though that openly talked about taken roids. That aggravatee me.

Originally got a membership at an Anytime in Lafayette when I lived there and switched to Dville when I moved back home and got a different job. The equipment is serviceable, but they don't have a few things that I consider essentials. And I know damn well they could afford to upgrade some shite.

And yeah they have quite a few juicers that go there.

I've started regularly going to the newer one off of Hwy 44 in Gonzales. Love that place.

That's a very nice gym. But packed 24/7. I ended up just joining planet fitness since I'm not hardcore working out anymore. I just do light weight and run so it works for me. But if your looking to bulk up, anytime alot better.

Actually, very few maple syrup lovers in the that gym. Too expensive compared to the gym right in front of it.

I've been to an Anytime Fitness at 4am before, just not the one the OP mentions. You'd be surprised how many people workout at 4am.

They're nice gyms if the person who runs it is worth a damn.

Me. I'm from Dville. The only reason I'm at Anytime is because of when I go home there is one I can use. You are right though. I have been to like 8 different anytimes and Dville is by far the crappiest. As far as the machines go, its mostly due to the older people. When I was in there last summer I noticed they didn't know how to add weight on the machines and would get them jammed.
Just signed up for another two years, but the one here is actually nice. After that I'm done. If not for it being 24 hours and located everywhere no shot I'd be a member

It also pisses me off that the bench used for decline bench is bolted to the floor. Like

I workout at the ones on hwy 44 in Gonzales and the one in Dutchtown. the only thing that annoys me is my "home" gym is dutchtown but if I workout at hwy 44 for a few times the account is transferred to hwy 44 and visa versa.

So what does that do when your account is transferred?

I can't imagine many people in Donaldsonville work out.

Yeah one of the many moronic things about that place.

It transfers your money to the gym that it switches too. So by not going to D'ville anytime fitness I've become a member of the one on 44. So my membership fees now go there. Also when renewal time comes around you have to now go to the gym which you transferred to in order to renew or cancel.
