Lubbock County 1999, was a visiting a buddy who went to Tech . We had to to go outside of the county to buy alcohol, I was 22 years old, came back into the county and apparently I had more than I was allowed to have so I got pulled over as part of a BS sting and was arrested by TABC… I sat there in the back of his car in handcuffs while he used one pump to slowly empty three kegs right there on the side of the highway… he took his sweet time, was smiling at me, his name was Mark White, first class a-hole… then I was booked into jail on charges of bootlegging
The next morning at my arraignment the judge found out I was 22. He immediately apologized and threw my case out told me I was free to go, apparently TABC out there in West Texas at the time was notorious for pulling bullshite stunts like this.

Quite a few times. Mostly dumb young man bs like disorderly conduct, simple assault, trespassing etc. Very first time? Get this, having a pager in school(1995).
Last jail experience by far the worst. Spent a year in that place in 2007(released on my birthday 2008). In that time my dad passed away(though they did let me talk on the phone with him through the chaplain). I dealt with a major toothache with only 800mg ibuprofen to dull the pain. Wear contacts and half way through they stopped allowing my brother to bring me solution. A year of that food does something to a person's digestive system. Most annoying and why I vowed to never return, the noise. I was 30 then and just not in the mood to listen to a bunch of people that actually belong there act like they love it.
That year also gave me enlightenment on one thing. Black people and white people are indeed very different in almost every way. I'm no racist, I hate no one because of their race, but the differences are certainly obvious when you have a year sample size to evaluate. It can change the way one sees things from that perspective. The stereotypes hold far more legitimacy than anyone cares to admit. On both sides.

Yes 3 days in jail. Judge sentenced me to alcohol classes and I declined because I was leaving for work in 4 days . She asked if I could spend 3 days in jail. Told her I'm ready to go. Called work to tell them what's going on, then wife at the time to come pick up my truck. 3 days later called work to come pick me up and offshore I went.
I was in a room with about 50 others. A ton of bunk beds. Met thieves and drug dealers. They were cool to talk to but I slept mostly to pass the time

Who here has been arrested and jailed?

I was arrested for public intoxication in college and spent the rest of the night in holding cell with about 25 other idiots. It was crowded and smelled like crap but otherwise not too bad. Oh, one odd thing, my butt felt really weird the next day. Kind of difficult to describe but if any of you were alter boys it felt like the day after you camped out at the rectory. I guess you sit a lot in both jail and the rectory. Anywho thats about it

Arrested once and spent 3 days in a Parish jail on a holiday weekend. Overcrowded and loud, between the TV that stayed on full volume and probably 60 men in a room that was built for 30 men. The food was pretty bad but I didn’t eat anything because I knew I wasn’t going to be there long. The feeling of losing your freedom is something I don’t plan on ever experiencing again, it’s a different world once you go inside that pod and the door locks behind you.

Broke curfew at age 16. I got held till my parents picked me up. Jail was nothing compared to the arse whipping my dad gave me when I got home

Boring. You hear a lot of interesting stories, just have to assume 90% are bullshite.
Palmer-Wasilla pretrial DUI. Spent a weekend. You''ll need lots of reading materials.

Me and a group of friends skinny dipped in a neighborhood pulled while the constables searched with flashlights ...
and never been jailed
I was arrested once but I pled privilege and they kept me out of the jail cell it was an unpaid ticket which I had mail in my car saying the court was delayed but I got the date wrong
which the cop could see in my face that I just didn't realize that so he took it easy on me
I never would have gotten away with that if anybody who had met me thought I was Mexican and thetyre were cops,, Im White
Trump has me all of a sudden liking our odds for the first time in ages
and never been jailed

Had a buddy when were 20 something that got a DUI, judge said $750.00 or 7 days.
He took the time bc $750.00 was a fortune back then, he laughed about it when he got out and said it wasn’t bad.

When I was young and stupid I got a DUI. Legal limit was .1 and my dumbass blew a .11. Spent about 5 hours in EBR lockup. It sucked but the fear of what my dad was going to do to me was worse. The one bright spot was watching them book the hookers. Some of the shite they said was fricking hilarious
I got some Frosted Flakes and pop tarts while I was there

Young CR was a jackass.
Nothing crazy other than a few FTA, weed possession and a hot check. Probably spent a combined week in jail, not PRISON, during my criminal enterprise days. And that was because my parents felt I needed to sit for a while. They were right. Old CR does not frick around with the law

Night of my 26th birthday was in Knoxville with some friends. We wanted to go to the Tin Roof (RIP) on the strip but didn’t have cash for cover. There was a First Tennessee Bank right next door and it had a drive through ATM. I walked up to the ATM, put my card in, got blue lighted and they hauled me to jail for public intoxication because I used a walk up ATM.
So get out to the Knox County farm and I’m the first person in the holding cell. Little by little they start trickling in. Feels like I’ve been there four hours when they bring this one guy in, kicking and screaming, and they throw him into another cell within the holding cell and lock him up. The dude literally starts running head first into the glass window screening that he has “breast cancer” - this went on for like 20 minutes when finally we had enough and were waiving to the cops to come do something. They literally come in, listen and see the racket and this guy banging his head against the door, open said door, taze his arse and slam it. I never heard a peep as I got moved into Gen pop haha.
Next morning, I got picked up by my buddies who had sense to call the jail when I wasn’t in the room. Monday morning I got a call from the DA’s office with an apology, potential charges removed from record and mugshot gone.
Literally arrested for using an ATM. Will never forget the dude screaming and the taser though.

Got busted for pot my first semester. It was a Friday and couldn’t see a judge until Monday. The cop that arrested me was my neighbor and said he was sick of smelling that shite (I’d toke on my patio outside). I had one joint in my possession and he had me dead to rights. What was most embarrassing is this happened in a small town across from a baseball field packed with all the townsfolk watching T-ball. My mom knew I was locked up before I even called. Spent the weekend hating life. It was a big pod with bunk beds. Some of the older guys were my friends dads. Drank my first cup of coffee there. Those meth heads really like their coffee. I read a lot. Food was not good. Some guy tried to escape on Monday so didn’t see the judge until a few days later. Since the escape attempt, they shackled us up and herded us like cattle in our zebra suits to the courthouse. Judge knew me because I played baseball with her son. Just rolled her eyes at me. I accidentally called her by her name and got scolded. Bonded out that afternoon. Today pot is basically legal in OK and some say I shouldn’t have been arrested. All I can say is that was a real wake up call for me. I was out of control and rebellious. You can either learn or learn the hard way. I got a slap on the wrist in the end, but it was enough for me to understand putting your future at risk for something dumb or a moment of pleasure just isn’t worth it.
