There’s one going around saying that the Houston Astros are being the virus to distract people from talking about their cheating

This is kinda a low bar for a conspiracy when we've already had elected officials selling of stock when they found out what was coming.

Can’t believe I’m doing this but I gave Oweo his first upvote.

What did OweO do to earn OT villain status? And how could one hypothetically get on that level?

I believe that the Chinese government had a hand in developing the disease and that they had an ultimate purpose for it, but not this.

But, if this was their purpose, then they have succeeded. Especially if one of their vaccines gets developed.

What a bunch of fricks...

I do think that it’s some sort of biological attack. But I don’t think that far enough ahead to try to understand why.

I’m done with politicians. I’m done with people arguing over politicians.

As long as I can make money and take care of my wife and kids, then everyone go fight amongst yourselves over people who habitually lie to everyone.

I’ll stay in my own little rural corner of America and hope to god it doesn’t effect me in a severely negative way at some point.

this logic makes zero sense

There is no use. It doesn’t matter how many facts you give, how many times you point out the logic is flawed, how many people in the medical field tell them that it isn’t happening because it actually makes things financially worse, people still believe the nonsense because it confirms their preexisting bias.

This isn’t a theory. It’s a fact.

It’s a pretty indisputable fact that death tolls are inflated and not completely accurate.

Do you actually believe it’s an “indisputable fact” that the death toll is inflated? Because it’s literally being disputed by Fauci and the CDC.

I say this as someone who thinks we’ve largely overreacted, and I might actually agree with you if you said “it’s likely” or “it’s my opinion” or something along those lines. But it seems like more and more people throw around words like “fact” and “indisputable” to the point that they’ve become meaningless.

There is way too much world changing shite going on at once for anybody NOT to have some sort of conspiracy theory.
NWO incoming for its first attempt/failure. They will return.

Because the best way to scare people away from Nationalism is through a pandemic spread by easy international trade and travel.

I don’t know whether it’s happening or not, but there are some flaws in the “it just makes things worse” logic. If the decision to allow elective procedures and “business as usual” were being made on a hospital-by-hospital basis, I would agree. But that’s not how decisions are being made. When people are given the choice between significant immediate upside vs. a smaller movement towards the greater good, they will almost always choose the former.

“Why would someone turn their sprinkler on during a drought? It’s only going to make things worse.”

“Why would shale oil producers keep flooding the market? Don’t they know it’s just going to cause prices to fall further?”

“Why would college athletic programs pay recruits? It’s killing the sport.”

I like the term "Plandemic." I think with all the vivid imaginations, people could run wild on this supposition or another. I do think, the government would like to take advantage of the situation. Examples- stay at home-ok, curfew-ok, where a mask-ok. If they ask and we oblige then they really have us in my opinion.
