I needed four wheel drive yesterday to get my empty trailer out of the back yard. My 4Runner sunk to the wheel hubs.
My yard drains well but it’s just been getting soaked every day. There is now pooling water in the ruts I left back there.

You pass a football and ride a mower. I think that is your issue.

Grow some balls and get your lazy arse out there and cut the grass...

The old right gated one armed 180°.
If those are socs and crocs he’s sportin’ while executing that maneuver, in what appears to be cargo shorts, that’s fairly impressive.

I live in MS so yes, I cut this morning. God’s country never gives in.

The boys cut it anyway - but we don’t have a riding lawn mower

Just dry enough to get the yard around the pool and a 30 foot wide strip to the back. Too freaking wet.

Got my grass cut today
First time I’ve had two consecutive dry days in two months. Just enough relief to get most of it with the mower. Still had to weed eat more than I should’ve tho. And still have a portion of the back yard that’s too wet to mow.

Had to shimmy ZTR in a few spots to keep big wheels on solid ground, but got the front done Thursday evening, before it opened up, and the back Friday afternoon. Made sure I had some speed heading into some soggy spots and didn’t gun it from a dead stop, it was fine.

Dixie chopper peeling out and rutting it up. No care, must be cut!

My yard feels like a swamp.
I tried to walk around and but it was wet and spongy. I may try tomorrow to cut, but the mushrooms are having a field day with this moisture.
I really need to break out the wallet and spring for a riding mower to cut this soggy mess.

Took the Big Dog ZTR out and baled some hay in the front yard then thought I’d give the backyard a pass. Bad idea.
I bogged it to the axle but rocked it out, then bogged three feet away just trying to make it to higher land, had to use plywood under tires to get out.
Then, still trying to reach the sidewalk to quit I bogged all the way down to the transmission. I had to use a cone-a-long to winch it out. Brief chore turned into an hour-long slugfest.
Plus, now I’m looking at a shovel job to repair the huge ruts.

We had to get on to our lawn guy because he tore our yard up using the riding lawn mower the other day. We told him he has to use his push mower when it is this wet. He always has in the past. Not sure what got into him the other day.
