To a 19 yr old with a GED in 2001, yes. And it was plenty in 3 days of work to piss me off.

And you are supposed to be a frickin faqqot as usual.

At my previous job we all came in on Christmas Eve and the boss decided to let everyone go home around 11. The one guy who took the day off found out when we came back to work after Christmas and bitched to the boss and wanted his 8 hours of PTO back. Boss said “frick no.”

Yep. If you take the day off it's 8 hours.

Guys,

In the spirit of Christmas, can we be nice just for one day?

It’s Christmas for God’s sake.

I'm making over $1200.00 just tomorrow

For sure.
Skilled positions in plants can top $140/hr in premium pay times aka holidays.
It don't bother me anymore b/c I get to sit in a lovely office 37 hrs a week and watch armadillos frick and frolic in the grass all day while I play on TD.

Just remember there's an IT dork like me who can pull controlled access swipes for management and tell them how long you were in the building.

Security here is probably a fair amount less than a plant. We have to use security badges to get into my building but not to leave. They'd have to pull parking lot camera footage or something like that

We do that shite when there's a contractor issue or legal shite. When they be like "we gotta be absolutely certain this person was in the plant at this time" so we compare swipes/credentials to images on DVR at said gate.

Alot of our policies and reporting is dictated by the Coast Guard(TWIC).
