Then what does China and India have to do with this?

I agree that the 'green' aspect of this is a political ploy.

Because any good you do is offset by them. Pollution travels thousands of miles. Dont act like we live on different planets.

Yet to prove any of my points wrong. I'm not spending more money on technology that isnt ready. Its retarded.

Modernizing infrastructure.

Reducing emmisions.

We have a work in progress on the infrastructure deal (2 trillion) and are already reducing emmisions.

Nothing will change as far as emissions world wide until China and India are drastically changed.

I'd equate it to R&D, wouldn't you?

Difference is a company that does R&D will reap benefits in performance most likely pretty soon. Dont act like nobody is trying to improve the greener versions of energy. You think the Gov should get involved. Not me, as they frick up everything they touch. I'm not voting for it so I'm done with this conversation.

You are about to see two years of postering from both sides. This is an election issue.

You're right on that. It has to be made financially feasible in order to get them to change their ways.

Not saying it is easy or even solvable by 2050.

I'm not sure there is a word in the English language that sufficiently describes this idea.

You think this "New Green Deal" is two years away?

They are a huge consumer of energy, I definitley think they should provide incentives to those finding a solution. They shouldn't throw away money, I'm sure we are in agreement there.

No different than an airline promising to buy the latest and greatest airliner if Boeing or Airbus can meet their specifications.

I think the new 2 trillion dollar infrastructure plan will be fought over for the next two years.

The New Green Deal is DOA.
