Who else drives to work in the blinding sun this time of year?

why, in the 21st century, do we still frick with DST?
Put it on the summer schedule and just fricking leave it alone.

I'd much rather drive to work in the dark and have the extra hour of daylight in the evening

Absolutely. I'm on 385 south from Greenville at 7 am and it is blinding. Had a coworker on 385 nearly die 3 years ago because she ran into the back of a delivery truck (like a uhaul). It is suspected that the sun played a major role in her inability to see the truck.
