Whatever vehicle we go in determine who drives.
Sometimes we go in his, sometimes mine.
Sometimes he pays, sometimes I do.

Usually, she drives. She's prone to motion sickness and her car is more comfortable than my truck. If we take my truck, I drive.
Who pays is an interesting question. Sometimes I forget my wallet so she pays, usually I do. But in reality I always pay because I am the sole breadwinner.

That one time before married she drove and instead of navigating or even hitting the baby deer in the lane we ended up upside down in the swamp, totaled vehicle and lucky to be alive . Never again in the 8 years since has she taken the wheel.

You laugh, but not only do I drive, I navigate. Even with a smart phone, getting from point A to point B in a new place seems to be magic voodoo for her.....

We tend to split the driving. It was all me but now she got a new car and she likes driving it around. Plus my night vision isn't the best so when we're together she'll drive at night.
As far as paying, we pooled our money into a joint account (we had about the same and she makes more than me now so I'm not worried about it). So it's literally who's card is more convenient to get to.
