I usually drive. Sometimes we split the check. Sometimes I pay, sometimes she pays. Depends on who's more broke.

I drive but her freak out session when a car is tapping brakes 1/4 mile ahead pretty much always makes me almost crash

It depends whose car we're taking. And that usually depends on whose car is nicer. I'm just not insure in my manhood. To where I have to drive everytime. Sometimes, I want to get drunk and relax.

Wife never drives she is petrified to do so. So me 99% of the time and that is how I prefer it. I have to be drunk or in need of a drive to the hospital for her to take the wheel.

My wife drives because she gets car sick as a passenger.
