Been using it since its launch when you needed an invite to create an account. Then, you could send about 50 or 100 invites. Can't recall which was the number of invites allowed.

irrelevant. outlook is the app and domain you use even if you have a *live.com or *.hotmail.com or *.outlook.com address.

i got in *VERY* early. not revealing who i am but its a PITA sometimes because being such a simple email means i get tons of people mistakenly using it or trying to 'steal' it from me.

I'm trying to remember if I tried my first name and also my username for my ISP. I think mine were already taken. I just went ahead with my first and last name.
I remember they used to have a counter showing how much storage space was being added to the account.
It's been a long time since I've gone to the web interface to check my mail. I use Thunderbird to check my mail now.
