Ask the golf board, they’ll be able to come up with some pros or custom fitters in the area. I wouldn’t just take it anywhere and have them knock down a few inches, you’re going to mess with weighting, flex, etc.

You can cut graphite. If you cut the tip end it will make the shaft stiffer - butt cut just generally drops the weight

Pull the grip, mark how much shorter you want it, take a dremel with a cutoff wheel and cut at mark, replace grip and voila your driver is shorter.

Why not choke up? Cutting it is going to change the properties of the driver. You may not notice, but you could and it may not be for the better.

Do it yourself. Go buy a small tube cutter and the new grip, tape, etc. You can pick one up at Lowe's for $30 or less. Or better yet, borrow one from a friend.
Tube cutter is super simple to use and it works on composite shafts as well as metal.
Old age caught up with me, and I cut all of my shafts down 1 inch last year. Took less than an hour to do the whole bag, except the putter. Made a huge difference in my control with the longer clubs and contact with my short irons.
