What is the technical definition?
The direct intervention by a deity resulting in the violation of natural laws.

Yes…
Also try to be honest and balanced in attributing glory to the miracle maker whike attributing suspicion to the maker of the circumstance that required a miracle to begin with.
Have noticed we humans curiously tend to give one-sided credit.

How would a deity even be able to violate natural laws?

That is a bit harsh since it isn't like he is trolling Sunday School.
Defining miracle does have a direct impact on the answers, and he made a salient observation that the answers might vary significantly, whether the colloquial secular definition or the religious definition is used.
I would say his definition needs a bit more precision to include the violation of natural or scientific laws based on the current understanding. Something could be considered miraculous 200, 400, or 1,000 years ago, whereas today it could be simply explained by a better understanding of science.

I administered basic CPR- that I learned from lifeguard
training at 15 years old- to an elderly woman who was having a seemingly lethal end of life moment
Those tips in the classes and tutorials are very much usable in real life

I would argue that would imply a subjective, leaning again towards colloquial, definition. In giving what I consider to be a technical, objective definition, it would be a question of fact, not perception. But I appreciate that’s simply my definition.

Again, your projection is noted. Though to be honest, I didn’t think you this lacking in self awareness.

I believe in miracles and very much believe in answered prayers.
Last week, a very large portion of the world celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Savior. It is through his death and resurrection that our redemption comes from. He healed others and did amazing things, and promised those who follow Him, to repent, get baptized, and we too will have the gift of the Holy Spirit to perform those same miracles.
Regardless of your faith, if you would like to talk about something or need anything, just reply and let me know and I can provide you my email address.

I’m a little confused by the question, considering most people seem to define a deity by the ability to do so. Or am misunderstanding your implication?

A deity's power is inherent in the quality of deitism is, in effect, according to the natural law
