Who are you starting at running back? Gorilla or Kangaroo

A maxed out kangaroo would ideally be almost 7 feet tall around 200 pound's and could run 45 miles per hour. They can also jump about 10 feet in the air. While an ideal gorilla would be about 6 feet tall and almost 700 pounds and could run about 25 miles per hour.
In my personal opinion I would take a kangaroo as my running back. They come stock with a pouch that they could easily place the ball in, which would not slow them down at all. If you think the pouch would be against NFL rules, then they would still be able to hold the ball easily with their hands. If you run a deep shotgun formation and hand the ball to the kangaroo, you are not catching him by the time he reaches the line of scrimmage and builds a head of steam. On the off chance hat you do get in front of the kangaroo, his momentum would easily lead him to running right through you.
A gorilla on the other hand would have to walk upright, which would at least slow them down to about 10-12 mph. If you get enough players they could take down the gorilla, not every play, but they could work together to make a few stops. Also you would have to factor in the personal fouls the gorilla would get that would lead to multiple ejections. I will say if I'm looking for a linebacker I would choose a gorilla no doubt.
I've been arguing with my friends about this the passed day and interested to hear others thoughts.

gorilla no doubt. those big forearms would prevent any attempt to force a fumble.

Their talons would most likely pop the football

But let's pretend a gorilla won't crush the damn thing.

The Kangaroo is less likely to get a penalty for killing and maiming would-be tacklers so I have to go Kangaroo.

I’m absolutely gonna put the silverback gorilla in for running back. A silverback gorilla in football pads is an unstoppable force.

you gotta also remember that the NFL rule book states that a player is not in possession of the ball unless it is in their arms or hands. so the kangaroo can’t progress the ball forwards with the ball in its pouch.

In all seriousness - I think I'd pick an eagle

It’s a godforsaken gorilla

Kangaroos don’t have an opposable thumb while gorillas do. That alone makes me go with the kangaroo.
