Trust me....it cost a shitload of money to have 40 $30mm vessels just tied up not working....ask the banks that have seized vessels from the owners.....the banks are the ones that are getting hit the worse
If you dont believe me go look at SEACOR, Tidewater, Hornbeck...other public boat companies balance sheets.
There is a reason why all these companies are restructuring their debts and scrapping vessels just to get them off their books.
