NOLA street gangs are not organized like the ones on the West Coast. The Metz gang busted in the 1990s was probably the most ruthless NOLA street gang.

the untouchable soldiers were pretty hardcore back in the late 1990's. Mostly hung around St. Charles and Jefferson.

This isn't true at all. NOLA Street gangs became organized after Katrina when the made connections across the US with the Mexican criminal syndicates and other organized street gangs in other states.

The Metz gang was straight up sick. Those ruthless deviants drove around in their black pick-up truck with the word "Murder" written on the back of the truck. You saw that truck and you either hid or you were worm food.

I've been back and forth between Southern California and Knoxville my entire life. I have no idea.

3NG (3rd & Galvez) and the 110ers were, by far, the two most organized gangs in the city, though paling in comparison to a real gang as most understand it. Both have been decimated by indictments and subsequent convictions.
