Wasn't there a place called New Generation? What was it like? All you need too know is that it was nicknamed "Jew Generation"

It was Jew Penetration.

Joe and Irwin Shaab.

They started where Highland Coffees is now. It burned down and they built the store on Florida Blvd and Sharp. Joe used to throw TV’s off the top of the marquee for his commercials. They sold it in the late 80’s.

Their brother Ronnie opened a remake of the old Hoppers Drive Inn around town and was a music producer who brought Al Green to fame.

Also Smokie Bourgeois owned The General Store next to New Generation on Chimes Street. It was a head shop where you could buy marijuana paraphernalia, tie dye, lava lamp shite like that. When they cracked down on bongs he sold it and bought George’s under the overpass from George.

I’m sure he means Pontchartrain Beach. But he probably saw a lot of wide open titties at Thunderbird beach since it was in the middle of Livingston Parish. That was back when they had white sheets with hoods hanging on the clothesline out there.

Y'all keep saying Skate City. I'm 99% positive it was Roller City. Across the street was Gooney Golf which was way better than putt putt

It’s whatever became Jack In The Box. I feel like it was KFC because they used to have that black stone work under the counter and I spent way too much time there.

It was Skate City when I went there in the 80s. It may have been Roller City at some point.

It had a great arcade.
