Thanks to being white, I have soft smooth straight hair. Many black women over time have asked to touch my hair and oooohed and ahhhhed after the encounter. I felt quite smug as well and must also confess that I got a rise out of those tender touches.

Do you have a link for this with actual facts because I know African Americans are arrested for drug offenses at a minimum of 3x every other race. Do you think police are just not searching whites for drugs and search every AA or do you think they just let whites go home with their drugs? Just interested because the statistics for black males is abysmal when it comes to drug offenses.

I grew up around successful, educated people
I ate three healthy meals every day
I lived in an upper middle class neighborhood
My parents bought me a nice car
They are also paying for my college education and all related expenses
My trust ensures a basic standard of living

I've got a cousin who has always said that he is treated like a black person when it comes to police and jobs. Wanna know why? Because he is a trash dick. I just got done reading about a local armed robbery at the subway in a facebook group. Several of the members stated that they knew the guy; one stated that they thought they had just seen him. A LARGE percentage of the remaining posts were of the snitches get stitches variety.

I didnt see a group of people who wanted the crime to stop. Hell, they were doing everything within their power to make it as difficult on the police as possible. Guess what? The police are very helpful with stopping crime if youll let them.

This generation fricked it up. Back in the day, the no snitching thing worked, because some grandpa was more than willing to do his own neighborhood policing. He'd whoop that arse if the young people acted up. Those neighborhoods didnt need no fricking police. They had grandpas and grandmas and mothers to do the policing in their neighborhoods. Now, the criminal aspect has no respect for grandpa.

You cant tell me the snitches get stitches movement is perpetuated by a group of people who wake up wanting to stop crime.
