Come on, you're just being difficult now. I'm not saying we need to make being rich a crime or even that we increase capital gains to the point of discouraging investment. I'm simply saying that missing out on tax revenue (that could boost the economy in the form of tax breaks for middle class) is a waste. Increasing the burden on the investing class and decreasing on the working class would help, a lot.
how would it help?
you may create more demand at the very lowest levels of the economy, but how would this affect economic development and expansion? yeah you need putative demand to be realized into actual demand by having these people have money to spend, but without economic expansion and development, new putative demands of the market are never found and we stagnate.
and my comment wasn't about this scenario. i'm not sure what you're arguing at this point, but the post where i made that response was not about capital gains (at least i didn't see it that way). you were talking about some unsustainable system of economic expansion and i replied to THAT comment.

Ah yes, block the people that pay 75% of all taxes from voting. Sounds like a legit plan.

Without white males we'd be a 3rd world country within a generation.

Though it would be unconstitutional to do what the writer suggests, she does have a point. White males are the primary source of resistance to the progressive agenda. A better method would be to educate the regressive white male population on issues of fairness and equity.
I have nothing against white men, btw, just don't particularly care for the way they vote.
I don't have anything against people like u, except that u breathe

It would not be necessary to deny white men indefinitely – the denial of the vote to white men for 20 years (just less than a generation)
In black america thats two generations
But I am the race baiter.

Man I just ate like six pounds of Carolina barbeque, I can't even remember what the argument was. Let's just both agree that white people are terrible

You do understand that "equality and dignity of each human being" is the primary focus of progressives. The right is definitely not about equality.
You do understand that anyone with a functioning brain cell knows what a colossal crock of shite this is. You idiots contradict yourselves with every syllable you unfortunately utter.

I retract my questions. You are that fricking stupid.
Yes, yes she/he/it obviously is, but that's to be expected from these a-logical self-described "progressives" and/or feminazis. If it is female, she is an embarrassment to my gender and most definitely does not represent the majority. These idiots are generally just more vocal. No doubt she was one donning a pussy hat & vag costume a few months ago. ... And according to the many comments in this thread, it isn't such a 'misstery' that this is an obvious alter on at least its 3rd-4th account.

The author probably thinks consensual heterosexual sex is rape too.
Why does this always come up when the woman (the Huffington Post author) is the writer? I know many straight progressives, all of whom like sex with men. The women who equate straight sex with rape usually have far more in common with the extreme right.

WRONG ... AGAIN.

I'm absolutely right. The far right women are just as anti-sex as the "feminists" who equate sex with rape.
Both groups suck (but figuratively only).

This is some fricking logic here. "Let's take away voting rights from all men from the majority of the population".
Who has fed people this shite that all white men are evil and can get away with whatever we want, etc?

Not as much as I was told. It was good though, had a fair amount of spice to it. Course I could do better at home.
But yeah the sauce was vinegar based.
