So am I wrong to say that if I pulled up on my bike and that guy (white or black) pulled that AR on me I would have shot him? Was I not supposed to do that?

The fear mongering has an impact.
You've got tons of black people who have been convinced and preach that all white people are racists and the KKK is running around killing blacks.
