Iowa is pristine, untouched heartland.

According to the coastal bubble dwellers, that ain't American.

Iowa is niche.

1/2 of the people in Texas are Mexicans. The other 1/2 are from Ohio.

You would be surprised to know that Iowa is one of the smartest states in the nation.

That is surprising. They must have some really good teachers

If these are your criteria then don't sleep on Utah. Now Utah isn't my choice for obvious reasons but it scores near the top in at least four of those categories.

Uhhhh, Louisiana has flown five different National flags. Has its own endemic culture, language and Cuisine. Is the only state in the nation that calls it's counties, parishes. Is the only state in the nation that uses civil instead of common law.etc. of course Louisiana wouldnt be called the most American state and we're certainly not embarrassed about it. In fact, just the opposite. We're actually really proud of it and it makes us unique and special. It's the northernmost capital of the Caribbean. Havana North.

they're up there for sure, but Iowa has less meth, Indians, and better education.

Iowa is just the cream of the crop.

Only one flag gets the honor of flying as high as the USA flag. Not this one, but it bears a lone star

Based on population your average American is likely a Californian.
