Was looking for a list of LA parishes and saw who they are named after...looks like a few that our good folks might ask to be renamed...lol

Washington parish was named after a slave owner. All of those dollar bills, the state with Seattle, and the nations capitol,... Poof! Gone.

You can’t change Jefferson Davis Parish. We’re famous for the Jeff Davis Eight.

BTW what got renamed after the Revolution?

I know Kings College became part of Columbia at some point, but New York, Albany, Boston, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Charleston, Charlotte, New Hampshire, New Jersey... all stayed the same.

Pittsburgh is named after a fricking English prime minister, for pete's sake.

I propose changing EBR to St. George Parish. EBR is too synonymous with crime against Black people.

Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson owned slaves. Jefferson Davis... well y’know. Either way, the name is toast.

How long until they start going after the Founding Fathers. Washington D.C. becomes Harriet Tubman Kingdom. Washington state becomes Obamaland.
