It is happening. Two of my buddies from down here are moving up there to work when it opens up

Superior Grill's peak was late 90's - early 2000's. Thursday nights were insane in there.

Great environment, mediocre Mexican food for the price and $34 for 2 frozen daiquiri machine margaritas is robbery which is why I don't go there anymore.

Are you serious? Where do they think they are. It's Baton Rouge not Manhattan.

Even better, this was in Shreveport.

One of the last times I went to Superior, the next morning there was a thread "I saw OweO at Superior Grill last night"

You don't go to happy hour to pay what should be the regular price for a drink.

So this place isn't opening there? I'm confused.

There is no doubt about it, they have already bulldozed the buildings. You do realize they have also opened Superior Seafood in uptown NOLA in the last 5 years right? Talking out of your arse as usual

Yea the building got torn down about a month ago. Actually had a fire in the building when they were doing it.
The sign says they will be open fall of this year

My question is whether Baton Rouge is a vibrant enough town to make two of the same entity like that thrive. Will they try to have the Thursday evening happy hour thing in both places? And will that merely succeed in torpedoing the Govt. Street location's business?

Good question, but I think they will both do well (Gov't street still)
