A grizzly outweighs them by several hundred pounds.
Which one is stronger? A lion or tiger can attack a grizzly in away the grizzly can't move as fast to defend.
Are we talking about a fight when they go head to head, full on fight or are we talking about being able to strategize based on the ability of each animal? A cheetah could do a quick attack, run off to position itself to pull off another attack in away the bear can't see it coming..
If we are talking about them going face to face and lock up fighting then I think lions and tigers would be the only two that would give the bear a fight.

No. Probably one reason people get eaten by bears is they totally misunderstand how fast and quick an Animal that can weigh 1500 lbs, can be 11 feet tall, has paws larger than your head and claws longer than your fingers can move.

A mountain lion is probably a grizzly bear's best bet. Lions & Tigers are too big and strong, Leopards, Jaguars and Cheetahs are too fast and the mountain lion is the smallest and slowest of all the others.

I don't get the people saying the quickness of a tiger is a dominant factor. We are talking about a fight, not a chase.
What?

The male lion is an interesting one. 500 pounds, much smaller than a grizzly. But the male lion has a humongous head. Also to his advantage he lives in a land where there are more top predators challenging his reign.

The lions' that the movie The Ghost and the Darkness was about would arse rape any bear IMO.

A male lion vs a Kodiak Grizzly is not a good matchup.
There isn't an animal that matches up with a large grizzly.

It's not even the baddest bear.
Elephants would laugh at a grizzly.
I'll take some water buffalo over them.
Hippos
Rhino

Big cat would win every time. Quicker than a grizzly and they would jump on it's back, grab on with it's claws, then bite it's kneck which would lead to death. Big Cats hunt big game. Grizzlies hunt fish out of a stream, for the most part.

Baddest animal in North America is a Bull Moose.
