I have heard of Meermin. Look nice. Do they have the same ‘sound’ as an Italian shoe when walking on a hard surface? I am guessing so with the leather heel.

I like a crisp footfall sound when walking

It's not too often I take an OTers advice but I think I'm going to order me a pair. You sound convincing and another good quality shoe brand at the right price is right up my alley.

Are Fratelli Rosetti and George's still around?

What about Bally (Swiss brand, made in Italy and made in Spain)?

Why not buy awesome shoes made right here in America?

Rancourt & Co

Beefroll loafer made with Lactae Hevea soles are my favorite shoes. Their Court Classic Low is my favorite 'nice' tennis shoe.
