This is an article from 2017. The former WNBA player Candice Wiggins, who retired in 2016 talks about how 98% of the WNBA is gay and that she was bullied for being straight.
A year ago she claimed that officials and players colluded against her.
But again.. Let's say she is exaggerating and its... 80% that's still a lot compared to the amount of gay people among the population in the US.
You probably never heard of Candice Wiggins, I haven't until I came across this story one day. I am trying to find the video, but there was a segment on.. I think it was some weekend show on ESPN2 soon after this article came out and the two women doing the show pretty much shamed her for saying what she said. How dare this woman say she was bullied for being straight.

The LPGA lost tv coverage for the Diana Shore Classic, one of its traditional tourneys, when its gay fans were shown making out & strolling down the fairways holding hands & cuddling openly. Remember. this was 25 + years ago. "Not that there's anything wrong with that ".
