A real Chad would take US highways the whole way and stay off the interstate altogether.

Both are great, cause they’ll get you out of Mississippi

I drive each once a week. Jackson is a mess right now. Take 59. You’re welcome

55 blows. There is absolutely nothing between Hammond and Memphis.

…and yes, I do realize Jackson, Mississippi is on that route

Don't know about 55, but 59 is total arse. Beats you to death, alway construction that they're never working on, wrecks and broken windshields.

Two broken windshields in less than two years for me. Not replacing this one until it gets fixed.

This is the best response in the thread, especially if you're going to be riding a motorcycle up there.

I vote 59. It has a strip club right off of it. They get completely naked but no alcohol. I think it’s called Outer Limits.

Anyone have any good stories about this place?

You act like that’s a bad thing.

I always look at the traffic in Covington and Jackson before I make my decision. I’ve driven both routes over the last 10 years and it all depends on what time you’ll hit Jackson or how I-10 is to Covington. If all things are equal, I go I-59.

Used to be home to Britney’s favorite restaurant, Nyla’s. I think it’s still open, but not under the same ownership.

Either Covington really grew or they moved I-10.

Which is it?
