I suspect baking soda?

My underarms actually look "tanned" right now.

I used Speedstick 24/7 for years. Was my go to deodorant. Then I guess they changed up their formula and it fricked my shite all up.

I use HCl, never had an issue.

old spice
Literally gave me chemical burns under my armpits. Had to go to the Dermatologist. Haven’t used an Old Spice product since. Freaked me the hell out.

I have a years plus supply of speed stick because I did amazon subscribe and save on a 6 pack and did it every month. Finally cancelled after 3 months.

Old Spice gel is the killer for me. Haven't had that problem with any other deodorant

It’s likely the baking soda. I was using a particular brand and had a reaction to it. Switched to a “baking soda sensitive” line from the same brand and problem went away.

I was using a stick deodorant and I got a huge, painful boil under my arm. When I got it lanced, the doc told me that it was a sweat duct that got plugged up and to switch to a spray deodorant. No problems since.

Take a hot shower. That usually addresses the itching.
Then switch to another brand.
Then switch to another brand.
