I question its effectiveness. I think there are probably better ways. Will depend how it is implemented, but I'll withhold judgement without further details.

Yeah, that's wrong. Saying it that way is just rationalizing bad behavior in order to excuse yourself when it really does matter.

Don't know if it is really an ethical issue. People have different values and priorities. Though I do worry about people who put their health at risk. Might be a mental health issue to some degree with some. We all have our issues I guess.
